Reasoning behind the name...

This is a googled image from: Google

So, I named my blog Kiba and the link is  True Colors. I don't think many people will know who and what Kiba is so I will provide a photo! I'm usually not one to follow an anime but when I was a freshmen my good friend Emily said I would more than likely be Kiba. I went and found out that he is a ninja in a city who has the mannerisms of a dog. He is very close to his dog called Akamaru, who shares Kiba's abilities. Both are gentle and loving but are very loyal to those that are around them. If someone threatens them, they are likely to attack.

True Colors is a song by Cyndi Lauper that was redone by Glee. Yes, I do love Glee and I am not ashamed to admit it. I love the message the song gives and I feel that everyone should hear it at least once.

  1. This is a wonderful song choice and as a color person I loved the visuals of the many rainbow color groupings be it crayons or candy! I too am a diehard Glee fan. I think its' message of acceptance of ourselves and tolerance towards those who are different is a powerful and needed one. And, it is related to our attitudes towards the animal world about which many have the point of view that some levels of beings are worthy and others aren't (sort of like the high school world depicted in Glee). I could talk about this at length but suffice it to say that our class (under Shannon's oh so worthy leadership) is about affirming the value of the animal world and what those creatures have to give and teach us.
