So, today was an eventful day. After having a good run with my dog :) I went to class and got to take pictures of an adorable animal!!! I cannot upload the photos on this computer so tomorrow I will have to go in and post them. I love my hybrid camera. I have been using it for a couple of years and have had very few glitches. It usually does all auto which can be a challenge because of all the different ways to reach the desired effect. I do love being able to control more of my camera after talking over the controls in class. What I wish is that it could have a higher ISO number (only 1600) which kicks my little film cameras butt! I will have to work on my depth of field and getting it so that the dogs head is a little more in focus. As far as test trials go I think this one was quite successful.
I believe that this class will teach all of us how to improve our technique in shooting our furry friends. As with any skill worth having, practice is the only way to get better! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in your camera which sounds like it would be useful in many ways. What exactly makes it a hybrid and do you think it's good for shooting in the center? Was it hard to learn to work?
